Much Needed Perspective

How often is a team able to come off of a loss that stings this much with a chance to beat a top 5 team the very next week, regain a share of the B10 lead and be favored at home in the process?

They then take care of business against a few inferior teams and line up against OSU with a near top 10 ranking.

That's where the Hawks stand right now.

(Don't get me wrong - my wife got kicked and my dog got yelled at all weekend, but no more than on Nov. 7 of last year. They got their respective apologies on the night of the Orange Bowl.)

I wouldn't call Northwestern inferior. All the Wildcats do is beat the Hawks at home and away.

Going into Evanston and getting a win won't be easy. Just ask Michigan State.

I would call them inferior, but yes, they do tend to beat Iowa - so that's a fair point.
