I knew this was going to happen. Michigan State was highly regarded. Now they close with a relatively easy schedule. It " looks" like they have really put it together...and they are playing better. But momentum was inevitable with the soft schedule. They have to win the conference tournament to convince me...and they might.

Kansas losing at Baylor tonight would be good for Iowa as well...so Iowa has a better shot at Des Moines.
Ultimately Iowa just needs to win though...its in their own hands
I'm pulling for Ohio State tonight, if MSU doesn't lose this game they easily win out.

Kansas won't stop iowa from being in des moines. But they can stop them from being in the Midwest bracket and playing in chicago in the sweet 16.
My understanding is that kansas AND michigan state together can keep Iowa out of Des Moines.
What have you heard about that? I've heard top 4 seeds play close to home as possible. Meaning top 16 teams. I can't think of any reason why MSU would matter. I also don't see why MSU would play in Des Moines.
I've heard that Des Moines is already sold out, so wouldn't the NCAA prefer to send Iowa down to St. Louis, knowing that Iowa fans would sell out that arena. So in this scenario, Kansas and either Mich St. or Iowa State could go to Des Moines, and Iowa would become the big draw to St. Louis? The NCAA would then get 2 venues sold out.
I'd prefer Des Moines, but won't be shocked if Iowa ends up in St. Louis either.
