On that Friday in Indianapolis, White said he felt like he had let down the seniors.
On this night, he kept their season going.
"You go from that low to this high," White said. "It's pretty amazing."
"He's just so athletic," said Gatens. "He's such a smart player."

It was almost a perfect night for McCabe, who hit the only 3-pointer he took and missed one of the two free throws he attempted.
"I shouldn't have missed that free throw," McCabe quipped.
Asked if he had ever had a perfect game, McCabe shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know," he said. "High school? Fifth grade?"
"Actually, it could have been 10-of-10," McCaffery said. "He made another basket and was called for a travel. He was really cooking there."
