motorhome parking/tailgate question

Bringing a buddy's motorhome up from KC for Minnesota game and not sure of the options. Coming up Friday and hoping to park somewhere near the stadium until Sunday morning. Anyone aware of options/locations/contacts? thanks in advance

That link won't help him. He wants to set up an RV from Friday til Sunday. There is nowhere on University property that will allow him to do that.
Sorry, Bohawk. Not sure where you can set up an RV for 3 days, close to the stadium. You might try Craigslist where someone might be advertising tailgate parking in their yard and try and negotiate for the extended time.

You might see if anyone here tailgates in a near by yard. They might put you in contact with the owner. You could try and call Finkbine. They might allow you to set up an RV for an extended period of time. Might even work in a round of golf.
 
Looks like you're SOL. Finkbine used to have overnight parking for RV's.

Single Game RV Parking: Limited space is available for recreational vehicles at a cost of $50 per game at the Hawkeye Softball Complex and at Lower Finkbine. Free RV parking and shuttle service is available from three different campus locations. Lot 71 (UI Athletics Hall of Fame), Lot 85 (Hawkeye Commuter Lot), and Lot 55 (Hancher Auditorium).

These lots open at 6:00 a.m. on game day. I'd give Finkbine a call. It appears that all overnight parking is reserved for autos & donors.

Season RV passes which are for Lot 75S, Dental Lot or Lot 43, all allow the RV to park Friday night between 7pm - 11pm. You are also allowed to stay Saturday night. These lots are all reserved, if you can find a pass on Craigslist for one of these lots you're golden. Note - the spots are reserved so you would need to get the space number placard as well.
