Most Exhaustive DC Search Ever Taking Place

I'm so glad another thread was started regarding the DC search.

I'm equally as glad that I was able to post in said thread.
 
So at this moment, lets rehash the short list of potential DC candidates. who else is close besides:
bradley
hermann
parker
ferentz, b.
?

our we could go with a pool of when announcement will come, or an over/under of signing day presser.
 
I think the Vice President of China is coming to Des Moines for a wrestling meet in March, or is that just a smokescreen to keep the DC plans secret?
 
Why do Iowa fans have their panties in such a knot over who is hired as DC and how long it is taking? The fact of the matter is the defense is largely a reflection of the head coach. A bigger concern to me is who is doing the recruiting and what type of player they are looking for. Kurt Ferrets will announce his selection when he is ready.

Sunday night.
 
Ferentz has pretty much hit some home runs with his ability to hire coaches over the years.

He has always been deliberate, done due diligence....

but I agree and suspect he has chosen to wait after the signing date, and wait for after the Super Bowl to free up a coach or 2... or has NO CLUE!

I WANT TO KNOW!!! Tell me now!

this is my thinking as well. If it is a guy coaching in Super Bowl (Hermann), it makes sense the deadline keeps getting pushed back. Otherwise, they want to wait until after signing day to announce it's Parker or Bradley maybe? IDK but I am def curious!
 
How about the posters that made fun of KF for saying he "wasnt worried about it" before the bowl game? They told us we were going to lose recruits and miss out on others because we hadn't hired a DC. If only KF had the insight of many on this board.....:rolleyes:
 
Fire them all! Nobody has a clue what they are doing and everyone on here would make better decisions for all things related to the Hawkeyes. These boards do make for great entertainment that is fo sure.
