Morehouse says No Colin Sandeman today

No disrespect to Sandeman.

Paul Chaney brings a threat on PR that we need. Paul has been there done that, so not worried about dropped punts.

And Chaney has never broke a big one, either. He's got speed, but it just doesn't seem to materialize in PR situations. Sandeman is a solid punt returner, and a pretty reliable slot receiver.

Bummer- Sandeman is solid.

That said... I'm excited about the opportunity for Chaney- next man in!

As long as he just catches it I'll be happy.

Aren't we on "punt safe" for the rest of the year anyway after the Wisconsin brain fart?

Overall he ranks 39th in the Nation at a 8.7 average. I have no problem with Sandeman.
No idea how this is or 3rd in big 10 when he fair catches everything. He is sure hands back there but at Indiana last week he called for fair catch and the defenders were 15 yards from him yet. Still mystified by the fake from Wisc that worked so well when we never return a punt anyway.

add to list of season injuries ... Hampton, Gettis, McMillin, Koeppel, Tarp, Nielson, Sandeman, Murray, (wegher - probably missing a couple more, these were starters on Aug 15 - tough to make it through Big 10 for any team
