In theory you are 1000% correct. In reality it is about winning football games. Winning football games has to be part of the equation, it just does.

I think it's a distant second. IF you help these individuals develop the skill set needed to be successful such as dedication, work ethic, and a team first attitude that benefits them in the real world as well as on the field it makes it that much easier to win games. Winning is the ultimate goal, but to do so there has to be a solid foundation.
