More Extended Keoppel Video

I am absolutely shocked that he just stood up after getting hit, I don't know how fast he was going but wow.

It's nothing short of amazing. I can almost hear the driver of the truck saying " I didn't even see you".

Jeebus. Josh friggen bounced! That's horrifying.
I'm so glad he's gonna be fine. The cat has 8 more lives to use up, and I hope he doesn't for many, many years. :)

Might be a decent idea to check that driver's cell phone usage from that morning.

Beyond that, it sucks that I also have a white F150. Kind of like having a white bronco a few years back.

A 280 pound man on a scooter, if the driver uses that as an excuse, than what is wrong with him?

bikes are just harder to see, for whatever reason. i'm not excusing the f150, but in my experience both as the driver of a bike, and the driver of a car, I can say that from both perspectives.

That shoe had to have cleared the light post for sure and I can't believe that he just stood up! He needs to be the starter just on principle!!! Josh Koeppel, the man who siad, "Practicing against he #1 D-Line isn't enough. I wanna hit a truck!" Actually, it appears that the truck failed to yield the right of way. I am guessing that both Koeppel and the truck had expiring green lights/yellow lights they were both trying to beat. If you are turning left, you have to yield the right of way to the opposing traffic! Green light doesn't always mean "GO".

if you look at the video, he's probably looking directly into the sun when he tries turning. i'm not making excuses, just can see where it would become a problem for him

OMG. I dont care what he says, he has to be very very sore. A day or two later he is going to feel it everywhere. That video will become an internet sensation. Hope the truck is ok

Your right, it's like bike's don't register in your brain - for whatever reason. It was clearly the truck drivers fault but sometimes you just don't see them even if they are right in front of your face. Driving in down town Iowa City is chalenging for many reasons. I am surprised more people aren't killed with the amount of stupid jaywalkers.

Yeah, I don't think so. That light stays red for a long time and cars and motorcycles keep coming through the signal.

It could have been the sun. This time of year the glare is bad that time of day.

That video gets more incredible every time I watch it (I'm sure I wouldn't continue to watch it over and over again if he had suffered injuries). That's a big man but that's a truck that weighs at least a ton. He had no business getting up after that... talk about one tough hombre.

The driver of the truck looks absolutely stunned. Honestly, that could have happened to anyone who isn't paying full attention to what they're doing while driving. Thank god he's okay. I think anyone who watches that video is probably just as amazed as the people who saw it happen in person.

You can tell by the length and angle of the shadows that the driver of the truck was driving right into the sun. Still the fault of the driver, but it's not a big shock to see accidents like that.

People die in crashes less violent than that. Josh is very lucky.

Josh Koeppel's tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.

Josh Koeppel has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life there.

They once made a Josh Koeppel toilet paper, but it wouldn't take crap from anybody.

When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Josh Koeppel.

Josh Koeppel built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Josh met all three bullets with his beard, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.
