idk, i'm going to give BK a break here. a lot of guys were really piling on him last year. it takes a big man to make fun of himself. so, props to you BK! it gave me a chuckle.

That's kind of how I see it...some self deprecating humor making light of last year's thread.

BREAKING NEWS

TUESDAY JULY 5, 2011

Iowa Tight End C.J. Fiedorowicz was arrested today on felony charges for riding a motorized two wheeled vehicle without a helmet in violation of a provision contained on page 896 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that prohibits the operation of two wheeled vehicles without a helmet.

"Failure to wear helmets while riding on motorized two wheel vehicles cost the healthcare system over $81 million in 2009," said Nancy Pelosi. "We must harshly punish those whose reckless behavior increases the cost of healthcare for everyone else. It is my hope that the arrest of this young man will send a loud and clear message to all youngsters out there that this behavior will not be tolerated."

Pelosi went on to claim that the man who gathered the photographic evidence is an American hero.

Iowa Football coach Kurt Ferentz said, "I have no comment regarding C.J. other than to say he is no longer in good standing with the team." Ferentz has generally prohibited players charged with felonies from participating in team activities.

If convicted, Fiedorowicz could face up to 10 years in federal prison. JD Miller, proprietor of the website HawkeyeNation.com, believes that given recent precedent in place with respect to the Iowa basketball team, Fiedorowicz will "be starting by mid season." He then clarified the statement by adding, "of 2021."

In may I saw Brennan Cougill on a moped on Kirkwood Campus. This was before he had signed with UW-GB. At that point I assumed he would go to Iowa to man the 5 spot. It turns out that spotting guys on mopeds isn't as great an indicator as we had thought.

(true story btw)

Way to go Brian!

Does CJ know of the now classic "starting by mid-season: moped required" thread?

If your foreign language translation start-up doesn't take off, you can always fall back on private investigation.

If it weren't for people riding 2 wheeled vehicles w/out helmets our organ donor program would come to a screeching halt.

I was watching a doctor talking about transplants a few years ago and he was asked who the perfect donor was. He said, "A 20 year old with a motorcycle."

The make great donors! Except when they run into things like trees, deer or semis, that mushes things up a little bit too much...

Here is one for the d'oh! awards. Who needs a helmet?

Seriously tho, I know more people that have died from motorcycle accidents than all diseases combined.
