Moore Gone at Michigan....

When I first heard, I thought to myself: "9-3? Here we go again." But having an inappropriate relationship with a staffer....yeah that will do it. With Michigan's recent history of scandals, I assume they just wanted to get ahead of it.

Do you think they'd have fired Jim Harbaugh for the same offense? It looks opportunistic to me, not that it is not deserved.
My thoughts exactly. With the staffer also being prego....ooof! This was ongoing, and I assume some knew about it possibly and this was just something to get him out (with cause). So they are not on the hook for his contract.

Would Harbaugh have committed the same offense?

Good opp to get rid of Moore, but he definitely screwed the pooch. OK...poor choice of words. ;) Basic HR: married guys shouldn't fool around with people on their staff...especially married guys in leadership positions.

Oh. Absolutely. My thought too. But if you're gonna leverage something for opportunity, the timing was really bad. And I dunno you can get past "inappropriate relationship" these days.
Impromptu partying with coeds at Mizzou in the 90s Eustachy style, yah. But inappropriate relationships are pretty binary and would be the end of any coach.
