So, the second game starts...it's on in the background. And I'm thinking...something doesn't sound right? what is it? ..

Then I realize...yeah, it's her. That's all the validation I needed. I honestly did not know who I was hearing...but I knew it just didn't sound good... and then I realized it was her. It's not gender bias...misogyny...etc. She just has an irritating voice.

The comments from NFL fans should be interesting

SECSPN has completely jumped the Shark with this season's MNF crew.
Frank Gifford and Howard Cosell must be shaking their heads from heaven in dismay of how this once stellar program has morphed into complete dog$hit.
Nothing against her personally, I'm sure she's a nice person, but the geniuses from Bristol promoted Beth Mowins to call MNF games, not because she's really good and will draw in viewers, rather she got the new gig solely because she's a woman.
I'm so sick of their ultra-lib Disney-PC agenda, I'm seriously thinking of canceling my sattelite program and watch what I want online/HULU, whatever I have to do to keep them from getting more more dime of my money. It won't matter much, but I'll feel better.

Maybe it was because they aren't paying her very much. They are having some trouble.....?

She isn't a regular Monday night person. Gruden and McDonough are the Monday night regulars.
 
Riley Reiff looked good at LT for the Vikings last night. The Vikings/Packers match ups might be interesting this year.
 
Wow, that was brutal. That was like an intern at the local TV station in Fargo covering the high school game. Perfect last name. Nice hanky though. These ESPN and Disney media execs should all be canned for the dumpster fire they've created ... and they wonder why their ratings are down again this year.

He's a paid professional that has worked hard to get to this spot... and blew it. I don't feel THAT bad for him... and no I'd likely flame out horribly, but I also work in insurance.

You're right, it's not the kids fault. It's the producers and network execs who made the decision. That's what auditions are for. This a national telecast and they are trying to be cute with local talent and no experience. Plenty of seasoned media people out there who could do a much better job.

Right... in this case, ESPN took diversity instead of talent and they are getting lit for it. He's a twitter phenom

Ummmmm no you are way the hell off. Every year to start the season they have two MNF games. The rest of the season they have one MNF game. So they always throw out this alternate crew for the late game. It used to be Berman and random other people but he retired. The second crew always sucks because they only do that one game.

They were awful last night. All 3 of them. But that's the only NFL game they will broadcast all year for ESPN. It's been this way for years
