Owners approve wild-card winners hosting Games 1, 2 of division series - ESPN

I don't like this. The team with home field advantage takes first 2 on the road. Those are important games. Could go home down 2-0. I don't like it. Think it give advantage to the "worse" team.

This is only for this year and is designed to minimize travel days. It will allow them to fit the extra Wild Card game into the same TV schedule that was already in existance.

Didn't work for the Cubs in 1984. I mean the 2-0 advantage and then only need to win 1 on the road. Damn it.

But the division winners will also have their better pitchers for games 1 and 2, more likely to win on the road. Sometimes those 3 and 4 starters are way better at home!
