Miss Woodbury at the moment.

Seton Hall over Villanova for the Big East Conference basketball championship: 69-67.....

Villanova won the conference championship, and Seton Hall finished third.....

I don't miss Woody because he is ineligible this season and there is No chance of him helping this season.....

Without Woody last season, we would not be Number One in Kenpom for about a week or so, not be leading the B1G conference over half the the season.....

Woody was blatantly instrumental in both wins over Purdue, effecitvely neutralizing Hammons and Haas. They were a handful. We could miss him against Purdue this season however. Haas has vastly improved.....

Fran will see that the D improves. This was an extremely tough test so early in the season. The half court trap worked well at times, but was beaten more. The athleticism and talent will mainfest itself this season. We just might have a troublesome press as the season winds on.....

Bottom Line: This is going to be an extremely entertaining team to watch. Perhaps the Jok-Cook connection will resemble Stockton-Malone. That would be very nice.....

Don't know how much help Woody would have been against Seton Hall. He probably would have fouled out covering the defensive lapses on the perimeter.....

I don't miss Woody at all. He was a good player and teammate, but the potential in the guys that are replacing him is much more exciting. We are three games in, and it's going to be a tough non conference with some of the teams we play, but for the first time in awhile, I didn't think we were outmatched athletically against a very good team...certainly a tournament team. We have an issue defending at the guard spot...but hopefully Fran can get them playing defense.
