So, being a guy that never worries about having Iowa tickets, how much do you think the scalping price will be on Saturday?

I am driving down with 6 or so Gopher fans (sorry) and I told them they might as well just sell their tickets and make some beer money. Face value was $65, I'd be surprised if you couldn't get $130 for them. $100 at the very least.

Cheapest ticket right now on stubhub is $140

If you wait to buy a ticket at kickoff, you can always find a good deal. I'm not willing to miss part of the game to save a few bucks, but other people do.

A lot of times it's more than a few bucks though. Iowa State game last year I saved $50 a piece for 2 tickets by doing just that. Was a last minute decision to ride a long with a buddy and for $100 total I can spare the first 3 minutes of the game.

I buy from scalpers quite often for Hawk games. This will be the most expensive ticket of the year by 2x. As a general rule of thumb, you can usually gets tickets from scalpers for about 2/3 of what the price is going for on Stubhub a couple days prior to the game. Note that Stubhub is also making the buyer pay a hefty service fee now. Buying at Kinnick is the way to go and sometimes you can get lucky and avoid the scalpers by buying from a Hawk fan who has extra. For a decent sideline seat this Saturday I'm guessing it will be in the $100 - $150 range. A little less in the end zones. It will be worth it though.

I usually just walk up to the fist person I see with tics and say "gimme two". Then I walk into stadium.
