Minnesota players love to hate Iowa





It's a fun rivalry chant. It's a little pathetic to do when they aren't playing Iowa though.
 


I'm a little surprised the Big Ten and/or NCAA haven't cracked down on this chant. Xenophobia has no place in college sports.

Remember when Dantonio told his players to take it personally, he instilled a lot of hate as they came to Iowa in 2011. Iowa did not match their intensity or effort that day and they exacted revenge on Iowa for the 2010 beat down. Sometimes that stuff works.
 


Since Iowa fans marched around the Metrodome with their goal posts (And had sex in their bathrooms) I wouldn't expect anything less... It's all good they are playing the little brother card and it makes for a good rivalry. We don't have to match it so much as just beat them on the field/court and I'm happy.
 


Whatever you do, don't listen to that podcast or whatever the heck that was linked in the article. Not sure exactly what it is but it is but I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard that those guys talk. That was disturbing.
 




2008 Iowa 55-0 Just a no respect beat down
2009 Iowa 12- 0
2010 Minn 27-24
2011 Minn 22-21
2012 Iowa 31-13 Iowa only won four games this year. One of them was Minnesota.
2013 Iowa 23-7 Man Card pulled. Minnesota winning streak ended.
It's like Minnesota is Iowa State of the B1G when it comes to playing Iowa. Iowa wins big most of the time and in the few times that Minnesota wins......They squeak it. They start out with such high hopes and then Iowa brings them back to reality.
 




after reading Hawkfnntn's comments, I have one question for you all, what happened to Lois Feldman? Did she finally go work at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada or what...?

According to google it looks likes she is still married and living in Carroll.... As much as the people of Carroll would like this to be forgotten I just think it's the funniest thing ever and hope it lives on.

I was at both the 55-0 beatdown (last gopher game ever in the dome, sex in bathroom game) and the 45-21 game where the roses were handed out and we tore down their goalposts. 2 of my favorite Hawkeye football memories from a humor standpoint. The gophers are our b*tches so of course they hate us.

The school is cracking down on it. They aren't going to help start it but won't stop fans either.
