Minn @ Iowa Predictions

Not wanting to start a new thread for this, but does anybody know what time the doors open to get into the arena? Is it an hour before?

Thanks in advance.

Edit - Never mind, found it...90 minutes prior to tipoff.

Unfortunately won't be able to watch as I'll be on the road, so JJ is going to have to start the winning thread today.

Iowa comes out over confident and rusty, falls behind by double digits in the first half. Hawks make a run in the 2nd half but come up short at the end.

Minnesota 78
Iowa 75

I'm VERY nervous about this game. Like a running team that struggles in the 1/2 court, Iowa gets a nice game, then sits for a week. DO NOT like long breaks! That and it's been road upsets galore in the B1G since Thursday night.

Thankfully, MSU set the universe back on track last night, beating down Illannoy and, techincally, it's a new week, so, while it will be a white-knuckler, Iowa protects: 74-67.

Rusty yes. Fell behind yes. WAY off for the rest of the prediction. Never doubt man.

Iowa in an azz-whoopin' 82-66. Hawks do not lose a home game this season.
Good call, although off on the totals on both sides. Love your location description, the Hamptons of Mason City. Both grandparents had "cottages" on the lake, and unfortunately both were sold and are long gone. I had no idea I was descended from IA aristocracy, but regardless I am and always have been allergic to the lake water. I'd say the Hamptons of MC, Des Moines, Waterloo, Ft. Dodge, and even Clear Lake!
