Miller's Final Picks are Interesting

Well airhawk, I hope you are right. If we beat MSU and Nebby and MSU loses to NW in Evanston, we're dancing into the final game. Book it (also assumes Michigan loses one more; I think they will, their schedule is pretty tough)
 
Watching other games as a comparison is dangerous, but after watching Neb sleepwalk through the NW game, they sure as heck do not look invincible. Come to think of it, Wisky bombed them and OSU had them down 24-6. I don't think they are unbeatable!!!!

CC---we will not lose in Lincoln on Thanksgiving Day....that is for certain
 
I have Iowa winning this weekend, and losing the last two. I also have that being Purdue's lone win the rest of the way, with them losing at Indiana at the end of the season and not making it to a bowl eligibility.

And yes, if Iowa wins this weekend, the Minnesota game could be one that hurts as bad as any loss in the last 20 years...because had Iowa won that game, and then beaten Michigan and Michigan State, the Hawks could basically lock up the Legends with a win at Purdue.

But, doesn't matter...that cake's already been baked. Iowa has to win out now. I will say that I feel better about that possibility now that last week...for Iowa's part in it, obviously....but for the teams they play, too.

Amazed at how Michigan State's offense has been below average in Big Ten play...and how Northwestern ran for over 200 yards vs Nebraska...Iowa's run defense is better than Nebraska's in Big Ten play.

You won't give me 40 points will you? Obviously you are not that confident.

Yes, Hawks need to win out and if they don't they don't deserve to be in the title game and MSU or Nebby can get their teeth kicked in by Wisky and Bert.

I will go out on a limb and say Nebby doesn't score a single point on Thanksgiving Day.
 
Jon you feel better about the possibility but still think we will lose to Purdue and Nebraska? I don't get that. I know we need to keep things realistic and not go guaranteeing victories like some. If we win the next 2 Nebraska better be ready. If we split the next two we lose a lot to play for but there still is hope. We just have to beat MSU we lose that one and its all pretty much over, the way we rebounded from the MN game gives me a lot more hope. Its cool were still in it the B1G isnt a powerhouse this year thats obvious but still having the 1st title game to play for is pretty cool and should be fun.
 
The next three games are the toughest part of the schedule. Michigan State is a the best team in the Legends. They have an good offense and arguably the second best defense in the B10.
Then two road games...Iowa could win all three or lose all three. I don't see them winning on the road. But MSU is possible because it is in Kinnick.
