Miller on Twitter “Iowa right on schedule at 6-6”

People are going to hate hearing this, but we'll probably get to 7 wins. Here's the part you're gonna hate. The 7th win kicks in a 2.25 million dollar bonus, and the Ferentz' like money more than anything else. The Saint-Ferentz crowd loses their **** in 3 . . . 2 . . .

So, knowing that, would you want them to win 3 more or 2 more?

I mean, there really isn't any difference in 6 wins or 7, so why not save the $2.25 mil, right?

if you go 6-6 at Iowa State you get a 10 year contract extension. Go 6-6 at Iowa and it's a failed season.

Why would a talented skill player come to Iowa?...

This offenses stinks...really...hideous...after a two week prep...

Coaching is archaic, outdated...execution..garbage...

It is amazing and astounding that Kirk and his nepotism hang around...

We could hire a coach at 2.5 mil and expect 6 wins
Or we could spend 5 mil and expect 6 wins
Both plans sound like a great path to relevance

Stanley is not the issue. Not even close.

He's part of it. You think teams respect his ability to beat them with a pass of more than 10 yards? Not hardly. Our receivers are bad, but Stanley is also part of the problem with our offense struggling.

Sure, he's the qb, so he's part of it....but not a big part of it.

I disagree that we have bad receivers. Maybe not great, but not bad.

It is just sooooo frustrating. Pat Fitzgerald had no respect for the Iowa offense. Given their defense he was still willing to roll the dice. That is how bad the Iowa offense is right now.

Those teams at that stadium looked like one of those 11:00 Ivy league games that used to always be on ESPN II about 15-20 years ago.
