Not buying the Indiana stuff either.

Seriously, by the way, after listening to Dace's rant about the quality of the BTN, I have concluded that he is right. The one guy on there (Mike Hall) has very very high 'weenie quotient' and should not be anywhere near national TV.

Yeah, you're that guy.The Covers opening line was -10.

Covers.com says it opened at -3, and is -3 on all their current sources:

Here is their lines history for the game, nothing remotely close to -10:

VegasInsider shows it opening at -4.5, and is -3 at all their current sources:

Maryland was favored at UCF by 10.5 last week. I'm guessing you are using last week's line.

I'm not surprised to see Deace pick ISU. I would expect nothing less.

He's seen enough of Iwa's offense and is not "hoping" for a change. He expects the status quo to remain.

All ISU needs to do is score 2 or 3 TDs' and they have a great shot at beating Iowa.

We on the other hand are expecting things to change on offense for iowa... this is why people are predicting 30+ or 40+ points out of the hawks.

Using the Iowa-ISU line at -13.5, I'd take ISU, too. So I can't blame the Deacer. There is a reason its down to -11 now.

I didn't listen to the picks, but did Deace actually pick ISU to win the game? or against the spread? I wouldn't be surprised if he took ISU to win, but that probably means we win by 30. This is a man who thinks Devon Gardner is the cream of the crop of Big Ten QB's. He does lead the stats in one significant category though, turnovers.

Has he seen Connor Cook play lately...even the Oregon game was impressive. He's pretty damn good right now.

How is it that hard to understand that Deace is picking ISU to cover?

He may be picking them to win the game as well, I don't know. But this thread is using the point spread.
