Miller: And Then It Was Over

Good article. I think every Hawkeye player will work hard to improve, and we could see a player or two make huge strides. Who knows, Meyer may help a lot in the post next year. I predict a better finish in the conference next year, hopefully a tougher OOC schedule, a strong finish, and a bid to The Dance (and not a First Four situation).

Go Hawkeyes!

That's the Spirit, Gliding Hawk.....

Everyone has a theory. I will stick to the fact that the long layoff between the Michigan game, and the Wisconsin game( 16 days - 1 game), destroyed the rythmn of the offense and defense, and the season. The falling beam at IU is the real symbol of this season. Thanks, IU!

Nobody quit on this team. Their tanks were just depleted and teams just shot lites out from the line and the arc.
Call it bad luck or whatever. I am proud of these Hawks and the coaching staff. Just could not get over the hump this season, but we are back on Dance Card and that matters a lot. We will reap what Dev, Mel and Zach sowed....mark my words

Pretty much how I feel, JHHawk.....

Serious gut check for those that return and the newbee's coming aboard.....we need quick athletic guards that can create, we need big, physical forwards that can rebound, but most of all we need an attitude that says..."We will win" everytime we see the court....I'm not so disappointed in the effort because it was there, I'm mostly upset that there seemed to no emotion...what the hell is wrong with high fives, a few screams, a few chest bumps.....get excited and get into the game.....at times we played scared, and when there's blood in the water, well, we all know the sharks are circling....If college basketball were only 35 minutes long, we would be undefeated, so, I guess we need to find a way to finish the last 5 minutes, because the NCAA won't shorten the games by 5 minutes just to please the Iowa faithful....anyway, carry on, get tougher Iowa, and learn to finish, and learn to win....

They will have learned a lot this season, NEIC.....

Looking forward to next year. Only about 8 months to go.....

This team didn't pass the ball much. How many players dropped dimes on this team? At least to get an open look? One pass and/or a drive and a shot. Jeeze. I guess an open look wasn't a guarantee 'cause of Iowa's shooters.

Very Nice Jon. Thanks.

I was so mad Wed night I could see steam coming out of my ears but in light of Patrick's situation I am certainly grounded back on mother earth and reminded of priorities in life and thankful for my children's health. I even have a better appreciation and respect for Coach Fran. What a year and I'm very excited for football season.

Iowa was 11th in the nation in assists per game.
