MikeG shot is off?

I'm nitpicking, really I am.

In the website's writeup of the game last night it was said that Gesell's shot was off last night... dude shot 50% from three and beat his season scoring average coming off an injury. That is pretty good for him.

I hope he is able to go at it with the same enthusiasm tonight!

On the shot immediately after he came down on the defenders foot he looked timid. Other than that he looked great I though. Hope he isn't experiencing any pain this morning.

And also, since I brought it up, I think that announcer may have hit the nail on the head regarding JO. Does he look a little out of shape? To me he looks like a chunker (and a chucker for that matter). I think dude is kind of tubby.

I was thinking the same thing, if Izzo scouted that game I would not worry about White standing outside the arc and would dare him to shoot it. He was missing wide open shots and they were not even close.

Expect him to have more discomfort today. Really surprised they used him so much in a game they really didn't need him.

He's 13-52 on the year, so if he did start 0-23, he has gone 13-29 (44%) since. So I doubt it.

Aaron White is good at basketball, but isn't much of a shooter, if he can improve his 3pt% to be closer to 35%, he could be deadly.

Agreed, consistency is what he needs, he has had some good outside shooting games, but not many back to back. If he just had any threat on a consistent basis he would be scary.

0-9, 1-11 is how he started a couple games later he was 2-15. 11-40 is 27% to date after that start, but that is what I am talking about people want him to shoot it more.

White is a good player, but offensively he is limited, but man can he get out and run plus he hits the boards and knows how to get to the FT line.

He was experiencing some discomfort in the first half. He was gimping a little and grimacing a several possessions in the first half (which was played right in front of where I was sitting). He said it was fine after the game, but there was definitely at least a little discomfort last night.
