Attached is an Andy Hamilton article looking back at the tragic accident involving Jeff Stewart and Mike Zadick. It is a pretty good read. Found it pretty neat the two weeks after the crash that Asst Coach Terry Brands delivered the National Championship trophy to Jeff's hospital room.

This is a little before the time when I started following Iowa Wrestling, can anyone tell me how Jeff ended up doing in his years after the accident? Great story and a heck of a fight.

I don't think that Jeff was able to achieve the wrestling level that he had prior to the accident. I don't have all of the historical data, but I am unsure if he ever wrestled at the varsity level at Iowa. Someone with more knowledge than me can pipe in on this.
