think about it. 1300+ yard rusher behind ISU's offensive line (you have to have skills to pull that off). He's basically not a part of their offense this year, so that makes him about as big of fan as Campbell as the average Iowa fan is right now so you know he'd give 150% against the clowns when he played. Before some of you say "I don't want that former clown on our team", Adam Haluska worked out pretty well for Iowa didn't he? Eh, just spit balling here but he is likely to bail on them when the season is over.
 
Jalen Hurd is transferring too , and wants a team that runs the i-formation like the volunteers did in the bowl game a couple years ago. Plus he admires Greg Davis according to his social media posts.
 
No thanks on Warren. Fumble waiting to happen, and there has got to be something going on attitude wise, as this was a topic from the first game.
 
I saw that about Hurd but he's not transferring to be a RB anymore. He wants to be a WR or TE (even better as far as I'm concerned) He thinks it's his straightest line to the NFL (and it would be if he's good enough to make the transition) There just aren't very many 6'4 240 lb rbs out there. Eddie George was close to that and Derrick Henry now. Hurd doesn't think that position will endear him as well going forward so on top of being lied to by his coach (who promised him he'd run I formation more this year and obviously didn't) he just doesn't want to stay at TN anymore. I doubt he'll go to an SEC school due to transfer red tape so does Iowa have a snow balls chance at him?? Who knows but I don't think I'd be against him coming if so.
 
From what I've read about Hurd he has knocked heads with the coaching staff and may be seen as addition by subtraction. I don't see him fitting in at Iowa if this is true.

I've heard the same. He's a hell of an athlete, but sounds like he has an ego that would not fit well here either.
 
TN is stocked at the WR position. They've been recruiting like crazy the last couple yrs but like Miles at LSU their coaching is just not that great. I think Hurd sees himself as a Terrelle Pryor type. I've heard rumblings about him and coaches too but that may be due to what Hurd feels as him being misled. Now coaches can do whatever they want and change minds but if they tell a kid they'll be running one kind of system and then don't how do you expect the kid to react? Some will suck it up. Some will feel burned by it and want to move on. Right or wrong that's how it is.
 
Back to Mike Warren, his problem is with the new coaches and new offense. Iowa probably isn't what he is looking for. We have seen plenty of Cyclone players pile up the stats at the end of Big 12 games that feel like Arena Football with no tackling and dudes just bouncing off of padded walls and into the endzone. Putting this guy into the Hawkeye/Greg Davis offense won't fit his skill set or make anyone better off.

No, based on that thought alone. Obvious sign he's a headshot away from a career ending concussion. Or may have already experienced that concussion prior to making that statement.

Curiosity is getting the best of me. What the heck affiliation or relationship does Jalen Hurd have of a 65 yr old washed up O coordinator. I don't get it?

I dunno, his mom got white girl wasted at the Florida game and went after some fans ragging on her kid, then fought with the cops. She might be fun to have at games. Even smiled for her mugshot.

She's 42 but judging by her twitter feed no one told her she isn't 20 anymore. Those ones are always good for a shit show or two.

That's pretty good stuff right there. It's not as good as getting it on in the bathroom in the metrodome with a stranger good. But it's still pretty darn good with potential for more.
