That's a great write-up. Klink was always one of my favorites, it's too bad he played when the program was down a little bit. I always thought of him as a prototypical Iowa linebacker
He was a really nice guy too. I had sign language with him for 4 semesters. We had to do a presentation where we signed along with a song and he and one of the other players did a duet of "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again". Hilarious.
I remember his senior year they had him wear tinted contact lenses due to light sensitivity from concussions. I wonder if he would have been allowed to play in this new era of concussion awareness?
