Midlands Session 2

I hate that Fittery is wrestling. Move on to International wrestling Steve. However, this could be a great learning experience for the young Mr Evans.

You would think with degrees from Purdue and American, Fittery and Patacsil could get jobs or something, and put college behind them, I get they want to compete but neither are even ranked top 10 in Free, and does Fitttery HAVE to wear his American University Singlet?

Alright, I admit it, they took out 2 Hawks that I had high expectations for, I would have liked to see Evans and Kelly wrestle actual matches instead of what amounts to exhibitions

Agree, but it has worked both ways recently. A post-graduate (Bono) helped Iowa win Midlands a couple of years ago when he beat Cyler Sanderson.

I guess I wonder what they're trying to prove by wrestling in Midlands.

I don't understand it either, it's not like the old days where due to cost of travel and the fact that there wasn't as many Free or Greco tournaments recent graduates and olympic hopefuls would compete to stay sharp, now it's kinda sad really Patacsil had his chance 4 years ago and got handled by a (then unheralded) Brent Metcalf. Although I am partial to the story of Bono entering at 157 just to beat Cyler
