This weight class is going to have all eyes looking at Delgado and MCD in the finals. This rematch has been marked on the calendar since Delgado upset MCD. Delgado is scrappy and I feel handles the weight cutting a bit better than MCD but I do think MCD will prevail in this matchup. But he will have to get past Mele first in the semi’s. Levi Mele is undefeated but hasn’t wrestled a whole lot of competition I think he wrestled MCD tough so hopefully he doesn’t wear down MCD to much for his next match. MCD wins 3-1

Prediction
1. MCD
2. Delgado
3. Mele

Tony Tony Tony Ramos has a tough weight class and this tournament will be a test. 9 ranked wrestlers at this bracket and if you have read TOM prediction it will sound a lot like mine because the seeding meeting will be interesting. What is great about being a hawk fan is we have Clark who has beat ramos isn’t ranked but will make noise at Midlands I believe. He wrestles tight and keeps matches close. Depending on which side of the bracket he lands changes his placing and might have a chance to wrestle for 3rd-4th. I don’t see Ramos having any problems getting to the finals again it depends which side of the bracket schopp, carter and quiroga are on. If Quiroga is on the bottom side I really think he makes the finals to wrestle Ramos and Ramos wins 6-4

Prediction
1. Ramos
2. Quiroga
3. Schopp

Oh the poster child montell marion also has his work cut out for him this tournament and I really don’t know how he is going to handle this tournment with the outside distractions. This kid has shown he can handle the criticism and the setbacks. TOM has him getting third which is probably a good spot for him but I am an iowa fan and think he will be ready for this very tough tournament and see him in the finals. Brois Novachkov from Cal Poly has wrestled great competition this year and we’ll see if it pays off in the finals against marion. I think this match goes to overtime and with Boris having more mat time with top wrestlers I think his gas gives him an edge and beats marion 5-3 in OT

1. Novachkov
2. Marion
3. Kemmerer

If Quiroga is a finalist, then Ramos wins this bracket easily. I don't know if Ramos is better than Steiber, but Steiber destroyed Quiroga, I expect nothing less from Ramos.

Word is that Boris and DesRoches from CalPoly will not be competing at Midlands. I don't know why, but that's what is being reported.

If memory serves me right, with around thirteen seconds to go, Mcdonough was leading 6-2 with riding time in the second period. Delgado scored a reversal to make it 6-4. It was almost like McDonough just couldn't keep up with Delgado after that. That being said, If they happen to meet up in the finals, McDonough takes it to Delgado. But, I don't think they are going to meet in the finals.

Mcd was a little under the weather the last time he wrestled Delgado. I am expecting a major dec this time around. Mcd has to be ****** a freshmen ruined his perfect season.

Will we know tonight who the point scorers will be? Most hawks are predicting first place for Mcd,Ramos, and Marion. Clark and Mark Ballweg could score some good points also. I suppose the coaches will decide who scores based on the seeding. Also glad to see Kelly at 49 and Moore at 57. I am getting pumped for this tourney as well! Seems like forever since the hawks wrestled
