Michigan's LeVert to miss rest of season

Sucks for Mich, they had a great run last season and now is getting some bad breaks this season. NIT bound this year it seems.

Tough break for them. To think they are 4-2 in conference play at the moment and could end up below .500 now.

Huge blow for the Wolverines. They will struggle to win many games the rest of the year. The game @Mich just got much easier. Iowa's bigs and height will cause problems.

Without LeVert, I wonder if they'll even get that.

At any rate, it does make the trip to Ann Arbor even more manageable for the Hawks.

Weird. I could have swore I watched him get interviewed after that game with no mention of anything about an injury.

Will probably hurt his draft stock a bit as well due to re injuring the same foot, a possible red flag so to speak. He was projected as a potential first round pick. It'll be interesting to see if he decides to stay or not.

That's a shame. I like LeVert and his work ethic. Year after year it seems like Iowa can't catch a break. Now we get Nebraska without a couple key players, Wisconsin twice without Jackson and Michigan without LeVert. We could just as easily have opened with Wisconsin and Michigan and played Nebraska twice late in the year. Surprisingly successful seasons often involve some luck along the way.

Don't get me wrong. I don't wish an injury on any player.

Don't wish injuries on anyone, but at the same time I'm not going to be that guy that says I wish he were in the lineup when we play them. Every team goes through injuries. There's no asterisks in the book saying who played/didn't play. If it makes our chances for a win greater I'll take it, because down the road we'll be the one sitting an injured player and no one will care.
