another team in love with the 3 ball. and about to lose because of it.
down by 3 with 3 2 minutes to go gets 3 stops , but all they do is jack up 3's rather try and get inside for a 2, 40 sec left still down 63-60 for over 2 minutes

Until UM gets a real post presence and continues to forget about the 15-ft jump shot they will never go far.

this is why i like Fran he uses the inside out more than other teams in the BT its why they beat Michigan and Wisconsin twice

Nice post...I have no idea why they fell in love with the three down the stretch...Bline got completely outcoached...three after three after three...and everyone was just standing around watching the guys go one on one.

Way to represent Michigan.

Izzo was very mad at half-time. The Spartans weren't playing smart basketball. Michigan State was taking way too many threes without getting the ball inside. He had no trouble with the Spartans taking threes, but get the ball inside then kick it out.

Last night, Duke & Michigan just passed the ball around the perimeter & then threw up threes. Duke's big man was nine for nine from the field. Yet, Duke didn't get the ball inside more. I think it was a very poor coaching job by Coach K.

I thought Beilein should have won the Big Ten COY award having guided that particular Michigan team to the co-championship of the league. Pretty weak squad in comparison to MSU and OSU.

I agree, but John Groce out coached him last night. OU is a solid, well coached team. Two years ago they upset Georgetown in the first round.

Groce was an assistant at Butler with Lickliter under Thad Matta. Stevens was an administrative assistant. Groce went with Matta to Xavier & then O$U. Boy, did Iowa ever hire the wrong Matta assistant.

Well, here is the thing with Michigan last night, they missed way to many layups, even airballed one, at least 6 that I saw. Belien was out coached, they didn't switch defenses as they normally do and they completely abandoned getting the ball in the lane for either some easy layups or wide open threes.

In all honesty, I didn't see anything special from Ohio, they had one guy (Cooper) go off and Michigan played absolutely terrible. What Ohio did and Michigan didn't do was play within themselves. That is why Mid-Majors win, they know who they are and do what they do best...all the time. Some are overmatched no matter what, but when you see those Mid-Major teams that have athletes and one solid big man, they are scary.
