Yeah baby, Go Get Hawks!! We should change it and say you got Hawked, when ever a good hit, tfl or a sack happens.

That is about as bleak a write-up as I have ever seen on a Hawk pregame scenario. Good news is MSU will have a bunch of guys moving on to the NFL after this year.

So, in summary ... Hawks will line up and continue to run into the brick wall, then wonder why they have a headache. Will continue to try to set up the play action by running JVB under center against a ferocious blitzkrieg on 3rd and +5, then wonder why he's rushing things and throwing to Weisman or CJ behind the sticks at 1-mississippi.

Sounds to me like we'll watch the same results as 2nd half-Minnesota with a final, desperate attempt at Pitt-'11 sometime in the 4th quarter, down 17-3. All along wondering why they can't execute simple up-tempo, no huddle as well as Indiana and hoping it isn't too late.

this is a game where we fans have to sit back and be ok with pushing the ball out to mid field, punting and playing for field position. Otherwise it may become very unpleasant.

Short version...if we have more than 250 yards of offense this game it will be a miracle. The only way we win is if the defense causes 4 turnovers and returns them deep enough into MSU territory that we kick 4 FGs and win 12-10.

this is a game where we fans have to sit back and be ok with pushing the ball out to mid field, punting and playing for field position. Otherwise it may become very unpleasant.

Not sure if this has been the intent, but, more times than not, hasn't this been the results of The Offensive this season?

Fans haven't been ok with it through 5 games.

Extremely talented and physical defense once again for the Spartans. I think it will be difficult for the Hawks to put up over 250 yds of offense. Just hope they make it through this game without significant injuries.

That's George Atkinson III, who is a Big East track champion, I don't think Iowa has a RB with the wheels to make that play happen.

These defensive battles often turn into a contest of who blinks first. blink = a turnover, ST breakdown, or blown assignment resulting in a big play

No matter how it turns this will be an interesting game to watch un-fold.

Honestly, I see JVB running an audible and throwing to CJF for a yard gain if this play were called.

Hah, I think Kirk sees the quick cut back on their zone plays as a kind of counter look. They will also occasionally to the opposite direction the FB goes out of the I form. The FB is often the guy who the MLB are is usually keying. A true counter or counter trey would be nice though.
