How would Malloy be as a RB? If he is recovered from the ACL, he would be welcome. I think we wanted him as a athlete, but if he has the RB skills, we could use that! We offered early before his incident, then pulled the offer. The ACL probably didn't help with the offer... He is obviously committed to the Hawkeyes if he walked on, instead of taking a full ride somewhere else. That says something to me.... But is he good enough to play RB this year??

unless im mistaken he never had an iowa offer. he commited without one and then got in trouble. he was offered a shot as a preferred walk on.

i think the kid could develop into a solid slot guy but i dont think he can be an rb.

i am pretty sure he had a scholly offer.

I think you're right. No full-ride. That was all misunderstanding with the media and fans. I don't think the ride actually got pulled, just that we found out he didn't have one after he got in trouble. Which, understandably, causes a person to think that it got pulled.

Don't get me wrong, I like to hear where a guy is headed, but the coverage is a bit sick if you ask me. Anyway, topic for another day and thread.
