Only two first or second team players bet it's been a 5-6 years since that happened. Speaks to the lack of talent. The good news is nearly everyone else with a shred of talent is coming back.
My predictions for next year's All-Big Ten teams:
Schreff first team and maybe OL of the year. Blythe second team, Van Sloten second team or HM. CJF, first team.
Hitchens and Kirksey first or second team. Morris HM. Dorian Cooper second team, Alvis HM. Miller and Lowery HM.
Meyer first or second team.
Miller has a lot of work to do get any All Conference consideration. If Lile is as good as Gerry D says he is, I hope he or somebody else can push Miller out of the lineup.

He's been "OK", not a star player by any stretch but fifth year seniors tend to have the light turned out at Iowa. I suspect he ups his game and get's a HM mention nod.

Agreed. Thought he had a HORRIBLE year, for him anyway. Lots of bad angles, missed tackles, sometimes had good coverage but pass complete anyway, other times bad coverage. Did he get this soley for chasing down that rocket Mark on NW?
