I don't think that this is the team that ANYONE was expecting a year ago or even a few months ago but hopefully they will do great! A lot of young guns with something to prove along with a true veteran in Zadick.
 


Fulsaas, do you know if the iowa guys will continue to train in iowa city for worlds, or will the team train together at the OTC or some place like that?
 




Zadick and Metcalf will continue to do the bulk of there training in Iowa City. However, they will definitely have world team camps and stuff out at the OTC so I guess that they'll be splitting time in a way. What a great recruiting tool to have 2 guys in the room from the World team again! We lost Schwab but Metcalf just keeps getting better.
 


I'm even excited about Paulson. 3 of the 7 guys have ties to the state.

The lineup of national champs that Metcalf went through to get his spot is unreal...

Not me, I really wanted to see how Howe would do against world level guys. He's clearly the future at that weight so i'd like him to go and start getting some great international experience. Although i do w/ Paulson the best of course.
