I like tuning in to local radio and reading local print. What are some good radio stations and print news up there that are good?

Down here, ESPN 104.5fm is good local radio starting at about 3:00pm until 8:00pm.

You mean "up there" as in Iowa?

As far as local print, your best place to read news on the Hawkeyes is to visit the Cedar Rapids Gazette. They do a very nice job of covering the Hawks. Here is the link. Sports | TheGazette

Jon usually posts links in a Hawkeye mashup on here when game talk starts to heat up as he will post links from anyone talking about Iowa football.

Hope this helps.

Well I am even further 'way up there' in MN, but all you hear about here is the stupid Vikings.
I used to live in Iowa and miss the collegiate sports scene. The Gophers are almost invisible here due to pro sports.

Second the CR Gazette mention. If you want some Hawk talk to listen to, try the OnIowa podcasts by Gazette writers Morehouse and Dochterman.

Brent -- Just saw this pic in another thread, and it seems to show that LSU were the national champs in 1958, not 1959 as your signature would imply.
