Meatchicken predictions??

The word "homer" was used above. So far I think we have seen a lot of "homer" calls from the striped shirts, which is why I think we take this one on the chin. Hope not.

I do like our rebounding vs UM and if it is a whistle blowing festival, I like our replacements much more than theirs.

GRIII and Lavert have the ability to blow by our guards and make it a tough night for our bigs, though.

I would gladly trade this L for a W at home next week...

Derrick Walton

Thank you.... This is such an interesting game in terms of matchups. These teams don't matchup well but I can't figure out if the height/length will be to our advantage or their 3 guard set will expose our 2 guard/3 forward lineup.

I think these 2 matchups are a given:
Gesell/Walton
Woody/Morgan

Stauskas is probably the biggest threat and I think as the senior and leader.... Marble has improved his D and will be asked to step up to the challenge.

That leaves GRIII and Lavert and Basabe and White. I would guess Basabe goes on GRIII but White on Lavert.

Perhaps we play a lot of zone tonight but Michigan is 2nd best in conference play in terms of 3PT %..... right behind Iowa.

Hell with it... Give me the Hawks. 74-68

IA 92 - MI 78 Easy win for the # 10 Hawks. Momentum, depth, superior atheletes. Mich is ready for a loss, can't keep up the win streak. Chrysler area will be quiet.

Until MSU gets healthy, and that could be awhile and maybe not at all this year, these are the two best teams in the B1G. Heart says Iowa, but if I had to bet anything of value I go with the home team in this situation. Michigan 76-73.

Iowa will start off fast and have double digit lead to begin second, but as we have seen alot they will fade at the end and lose another one that they give away...

Mich 79

Iowa 75

I feel much better about tonights game after reading this prediction.

85-79, good guys.

Judging by this quote, I don't think the Little Dog has watched too much film on Iowa.

"They like to shoot quick 3s, and we also like to get out and run," forward Glen Robinson III said. "We both like to get out in transition, score easy points. It's going to come down to who can get the stops."

I just think Iowa has too much fire power....we get that ball moving up and down the court....Michigan will be worn out and just wave the white flag...We are too long and lean as Beilein indicated, it could be a long night for Michigan....I just think they do not have the guards, and by that I mean, quick, up-tempo kind of guys, that can make things happen......now Stauskas, that guy is scary good from downtown, but so what, he can have his 18-20, just shut down Robinson & crew, and we'll be just fine....just play like we have been and good things will come....Damn, I just realized I'm out of beer

It's time for Michigan to be treated to the Wisconsin and Ohio State experience...a losing streak after a nice winning streak. They have us tonight and then Michigan State on Saturday. I will probably pull for Michigan State Saturday. I want them undefeated in conference play when they play at Carver.

I would love to play MSU in the top 5 too but not at the expense of winning the conference. Michigan winning that game gives us a better shot. Go Michigan.

I think Marble and White combined will score as many points as Stauskas and Robinson combined. If this happens I like the rest of our guys a whole lot better than the rest of their guys.

I think the 1st half against Minnesota was our 1 step back. I think the 2nd half will carry right into tonight's game.

Spot on. It will be closer than the Minny game. We pull away and win 85-75 after we shoot free throws the last 2 min of the game.
