McNutt's Interview This Morning & WR Depth

I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere (I couldn't find I thread title about it anyway), but I was listening to Bill King's coverage of Big Ten Media Days this morning and he interviewed McNutt.

When questioned about WR depth and how the loss of DJK would affect the unit, McNutt responded with glowing praise for Keenan Davis, stating that "Keenan will be better than me someday" (something to that effect) & also stating that TinMan is also a very talented WR whom he expects a lot out of.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. I was especially encouraged by McNutt's comment about Davis exceeding his ability one day. That says a lot to me. I'm thinking Keenan takes that "next step" that everyone has been waiting for in 2011.

Davis was the best player on the field during the spring game IMO.

I've heard good things about KMM, so I don't know if that's who Tinman is?

McNutt drops the subtle note that he thought about transferring at one point.
Glad he had the support staff to go to and to see him stay at Iowa.

I didn't know that he meant KMM at first either. Especially because DJK referred to him as K-Mart instead of TinMan...with all of these AKAs he must be damn good. :)
