McNutt and Records

So as we all know McNutt is the all time TD leader. Can someone help me out on where he stands on the all time receptions and receiving yardage lists after today's games? Does he have a shot at those records? He has been racking up catches and yardage in a big way these past few games. Thanks in advance!

I remember a couple weeks ago (before Minny game)someone on the other site mentioned to break all records he would need to average about 7 catches and 70 yards the rest of the way. If I recall from the last week he surpassed that and did so again today, so he is right on schedule. If someone has the updated exact numbers it would be great.

Just looked; needs 110 yards and 28 rec to tie career marks. He needs 78 yards and 25 rec for the season marks. Those are all to tie. Additionally needs 2 TD to tie season mark. Add one to all of those and he holds every major receiving record at Iowa.

His current 17.3 career average would put him at approximately 8th all-time.

Damn I must be a loser looking at this on a Saturday night.

I think it's also worth pointing out that McNutt will have all the career records in pretty much 3 years of action. What a stud!

I don't know about records, but I think McNutt is playing his way into a higher draft pick. He dropped an easy one, but he also made some great catches. Spielman commented several times about how excellent Marvin is in catching the ball away from his body.

Agreed. His reaction time is off the charts too. Did you see that one by the sideline where he came out of his break and the ball was RIGHT there - he looked like a hockey goalie...his hands were up to meet the ball quick as lightning.

Greatest pure receiver in Iowa football history. At least I think he is...you can argue Dwight was better in the overall playmaker category (although McNutt has made some big ones within his role as a WR).

what a great guy, WR, and representative of the University of Iowa.

definitely made the right decision by coming back.

Class act. Will definitely be one of my favorite Hawkeyes of all time. This guy truly deserves the best.
