McNamara Done

Cade says online that he wasn't cleared to play. Will play against Nebby

But if that is the case, then why didn't Kirk Ferentz just say that in his press conference on Tues or his radio show later. If McNamara is telling the truth, then Kirk is doing a big dis-service jerking the media around where if he would just be transparent, it could save a lot of speculation about what really is going on.

Or is there some legal issue or privacy issue where Kirk is not allowed to say more. But even if that is the case, just say you can't say any more because of legal reasons.

Kirk mangled news about a player? Say it ain't so?

I hope he is cleared for the Nebbie game. With the injury list and the unknown health and skill level of other QB’s in the room, we may need him. Where he ends up on the depth chart is of no particular issue for me. Be well, Cade.

We need to beat Maryland, Nebbie, and win the bowl game.

I like this. Hope the team has the same view. Play loose. Nothing to lose. We still have a really good and experienced defense and hopefully just enough offense to beat a thoroughly average Maryland team.

Play loose. Play as a team. Get the W.
Hopefully KF allows this... Never has been a "Fv@& it" guy. If he continues dogma rather than playground they'll lose in frustration.
Can he do it?

Is Resar so bad that he could not be pressed into service as an emergency move to provide some QB bodies?
If he is that bad, one has to ask why Iowa offered him a QB scholarship in the first place.
In the immortal words of Dwight Yoakam, “Baby, things change.”
