McGary is impressive

While not a Michigan fan, McGary is one of my favorite non Iowa players. Watching him against KU reminded me of Settles, Street and Bowen. The dude is a physical specimen, but doesn't get caught up in trash talking, getting payback for a cheap shot, crying about fouls, etc. He just puts his head down and sprints down the court, regardless of what just happened. He hit some huge shots down the clutch and KU had no answer for his size, quickness and sheer determination. He got some shots blocked, but made adjustments by shooting more quickly, going to his right, using the rim to his advantage. Burke was amazing late, but without McGary, Michigan loses that game. Should be some good matchups with him and Woodbury in the future. Both players leave it all on the court and don't shy away from challenges.

He seems like a solid kid, can take a shot to the nads and stay on the floor and plays a style of ball I appreciate. I do think he's on a bit of a roll right now...don't expect this level of performance game in and game out next season but I could be wrong. He's on a Wichita State kind of roll.

I'm interested to see how things go today against Murphy. Murphy can play inside and shoot the 3 and they are of comparable size. Burke seems to have awakened from his slumber but Florida can play...looking forward to watching this game.

He's been impressive in the NCAA, but was alright during the season. A lot of that had to do with the fact there are 4 other guys taking shots, too, but let's see how he does next year without Burke and maybe others.

McGary 54 points, 37 rebounds vs. better teams
Woodbury 14 pts. 16 rebounds

3 tourney games. - please stop the comparisons.
Let's hope in 2 years Adam learns how to dunk in traffic and shoot 8-12 footers. He'll likely be the biggest player in B10 as long as he is here. Act like it big boy and the team could go far.

Okay Dad. I'm going to my room now. Let me know when I can come back out and play.

You watch Michigan much?

He has been solid all season, but is playing under control now. He will be just fine next year and Michigan is now incorporating him into the offense in the screen game.

Look for him to be an all-conference type player next year, that is what Michigan expected when they signed, he was the No. 1 player in that class for over a year.

GR3 will probably guard Murphy.
