His original commitment is old news however he went from a very soft verbal to pretty much locked up. Taking one visit to a smaller college due to a promise but already told them he's solid with Iowa. Iowa coaches know this and understand.
 
Yeah, he was shaky before primarily because of the circumstances surrounding what happened with MSU. I got the feeling that he wanted to lock up his spot somewhere and didn't want to wind up an orphan with no home. Since then, though, it seems like he's really gotten serious about Iowa and even seems to have a bit of cockiness to him (seems convinced he'll be a solid contributor next season). Two down, one to go.
 
I can't count the number of guys on this board who've assured me they knew what they were talking about. My calculator doesn't go that high.

Would McCall feel "jittery" if he played another position?

What about his chances in the NFL?
 
I would rather see someone with pads on than running in shorts any day. Some dudes can flat out fly but put pads on them might as well put another player on their back....
