McCabe resembling Jess Settles

Word out of Iowa City is that Zach McCabe is resembling former Hawkeye Jess Settles. Sturdy F is the unsung presence for Fran McCaffery.
 














Whay is it that when I google Jess Settles this is one of the top 15 results?

He does kind of, except for the fact that Settles was big time from his first game, pretty much. Their games may be the same, but the level of their games, when Settles was healthy, we're way different. I don't mean that as a slight. Settles was that good, when healthy.

That wouldn't prevent a guy like McCabe from improving to that point, though. Just because Settles was great from Day 1 doesn't mean McCabe can't be as great after developing for a couple years.

I'm not saying McCabe is as good as Settles. But it's possible that it's more than just style of play that's drawing comparisons.

I don't disagree with you. That just wasn't the point I was making and I didn't feel like expanding beyond the point I was working on.

Zach is stronger that a Wild Bull or Water Bullalo for that matter. I can see the similarities. They are both fearless and take no prisoners and have attitude like Aaron White. This whole team will have attitude this season. Atomic willl be so Proud..
