May is not going to transfer. This is purely a rumor that doesn't have an iota of fact to back it up. First it is some guy who claims to have heard it from a friend who heard it on a radio show that nobody else heard. Then it is from some guy on the Cyclone Fanatic board who claims that Iowa is still recruiting Chanse Creekmur to replace Eric May at the end of the season.

It sounds like a fantasy story to me. And even more, the people on CF are saying the original poster if full of crap.

Personally, I'm just waiting for the next shoe to drop. It has happened with Lick every year, so why should this year be any different. Its not been a question of "if" players leave, but one of "who" is leaving. So far there is Tucker, better than even chance Brommer and then?

We can assume nobody will leave because those that are left are his recruits. I realize Tucker left, but he dug his own grave. I hear Brommer could leave, but this doesn't bother me as much as one of the core players. I have said all along, if a core player leaves, like May, Barta should probably let Lick go. With that said, unless May and Lick do not get along at all, I see no reason why May would want to transfer. I understand losing sucks, but it shouldn't be a reason to give up and transfer.
