Matt & Miller are School Girls

I'm listening to Matt and Miller on KXNO (not sure why) before the presser. You can't believe how Happy and Giddy they sound over this whole thing.

They sound like a couple of school girls that are talking about a cute boy on the playground.....

Ridiculous that you are happy about someone else having problems.

If you can't agree that the news we had delivered today was "better," than all the bogus rumors flying around this site made us believe we were going to here, then you need to do as your name states, jump off the cliff.
 
I think you missed the OP point. I think the OP was upset about Matt and Miller's giddiness over the troubles at The U of I. Please keep in mind that Matt and Miller are entertainers - not journalists! They have a job to stir up emotions to ensure that listeners will be riled up enough to call in to the show. The M and M boys are really Mountain out of a Molehill boys.
 
These guys are awful and seem to be trying to stir things up. I live in MI and just started listening to them on IHeart Radio. Are they ISU homers?

And I do agree with what you said, and the Original Point. However, haven't we gotten rid of the original problems already? My pt being DJK is out of the equation now all together. I think Matt and Miller have good reason as to why they're giddy on the air. I'm very pleased that the news is what it is, and I think hawk fans in general should be. Of course we all hate the negative attention its brought on us, but that aside, things turned out better than what most of us anticipated I think.

They were giddy and happy BEFORE the press conference. In other words when they thought it was going to be 20+ players dismissed or whatever bad news they assumed was going to come out of the presser.
 
Of course they are happy, they don't have to do anything as far as content for their show for awhile, they can just use this as show topics. Lazy

Gotcha, unfortunately at work I couldn't get the radio show. I would agree then that w/out the information it would be odd as to why they were "giddy" :)
 
I still say some of their callers have to plants because no self-respecting Hawk fan is dumb enough to call these guys and feed them.

Agreed.... I couldn’t detest anyone more than those two so called hosts. They are more like parasites living off of others no matter what the cost. I wish everyone would stop listening to them so they would get fired and we could get some quality programming on KXNO. :mad:

I'll to try to clear it up for you. M&M have only been on air together in the last year and a half. You must have heard someone else in MI.

I've listened to them for 18 months and I'd say overall Miller is 50/50 on Iowa/ISU and Matt hates ISU more than anyone and loves Creighton.

I think he was saying he lives in Michigan but listens to them on KXnO over IHeartRadio.
 
Please tell me you don't listen to these losers!! Do you realize they actually scoffed at, laughed at & hung up on a caller for thinking the Big Ten was going to play 8 conference games in 2011? And do you realize the Big Ten IS going to play 8 conference games in 2011? WAKE up!!! Even Cotlar is more palatable.

But yeah, that was pathetic. It was bad enough that they were wrong and it's their freaking jobs to have some semblence of knowledge about what's going on in sports. But the way they smuggly ridiculed the guy, even though he was right, was embarrassing.

Embarrassing is correct. It is embarrassing to share the same animal kingdom with these slugs.
 
i am not a radio guy, but I would think that it would help your ratings to NOT **** off all the fans from the two BCS schools in your listening area.
