Sad to see him go, but great for him. I hope his health is intact and that he can enjoy retirement.

From what I have read he is still close tot he program and works out at the facilities in the off-season. If he wants to pursue a career in coaching he would be a great addition to the staff I would think. I know he played with a edge to him which is something I would hope he could pass down. The last guy I saw play like he did was Scherff who was pretty good.

It's too bad that in his last game, he had to put up with that jagoff rookie Simmons from Miss St (who also was involved with taunting Iowa players at the Children's Hospital in Tampa) spitting in his face.
Oh well, Yanda made a cool $70M and Simmons will be out of the league within 2 years.
