Maquette just upset number 22 LSU 81-80. Maybe Marquette can put things together this season our W against them will turn in to a quality win?

They won, but they looked almost as sloppy and poorly coached as they did against us. Simmons is very good, but perhaps LSU was a bit overrated.

Interesting outcome given how much hype LSU gets from the talking heads. One would think LSU would be top 5 given all their star power per ESPN.

The more basketball I watch, the better I feel about this year's team. We're not the most talented team in the B10, but we're well coached and the guys know how to play together. There's so much sloppy basketball out there, so many poorly coached teams. Starting four seniors who have seen pretty every scenario by now is going to be a huge advantage for us. We're not going to get rattled by a coach switching defenses or playing in a hostile road environment.
