The No. 3 ranked wrestler in the nation at 160 pounds according to Associated Wrestling Press has confirmed that he will be taking his talent to the University of Iowa. Alex Marinelli of St. Paris Graham is only a junior with great wrestling skills.
Marinelli is a two-time Ohio Division II state champion with an overall career record of 98-4 in scholastic wrestling. During his tenure at St. Paris graham, he has helped the Falcons to two consecutive team state titles. Marinelli has shown everyone around the buckeye state that he is a great wrestler and can hang with the best in the nation. He is a two-time Ironman place winner being a finalist in his freshman and sophomore season.
He will be expected to wrestle for the Hawkeyes in the 165 pound weight class in the future.
