Although its a long list, quite an honor for a guy that started 2 or 3 games?
 
How about a guy (Wilson) who's never played a single game in the big ten to make it on the list? That's some impressive hype.
 
There's so many people on that list I wouldn't have been surprised to see my name! :D

I did see odds for 38 players to win the Heisman this year and Coker was on there at 90/1 odds.

He does have 2.5 years of starting experience else where. I'd say he's worthy of the consideration. I don't think Coker is, and those who say yeah but. If a guy was on there who had 600 yards but only started 3 or 4 games, then most of HN would complain too.

Gaining 600 yards in 3 games is very productive. Especially when he will be the feature back this year and the only guy with true game experience. If I saw a guy from any other school with numbers like that going into the season as a team's main offensive threat I would say he deserves to be on the list of like 50 players who are mentioned on the watch list preseason. Besides preseason watch lists do not mean much anyways. Its more of a list of names for college football fans to watch out for on Saturdays when their team is not on.

Three starts, not three games. He played in a few more games than three.

Either way, I have a hard time agreeing that Coker is really worthy of this just yet. That's just a little too much hype at this point.
