Marble needs to Sit

Until he is 100%. Him going out there and shooting 10-20% from the floor and continually getting blown by on defense is killing this team.

Team plays better without him right now.

He's not hurt. But you are correct he needs to sit and watch for awhile. Fran needs to send a message.

What are you talking aboot? He is 100%. He looks like a deer in headlights out there and with every missed shot, his confidence takes a haymaker to the temple. I'm starting to believe it's an effort issue.

I think you play him in short spurts. But of its the end of a game and there's nothing happening, leave him out. Gotta play him some because he's been our top scorer and with him hitting this team would be in a different situation.

I posted something like a couple games ago when he was less pitiful shooting, but an update...

8-44 (18.1%) in his last 5 games shooting the ball, including a stellar 2-17 (11.8%) from behind the arc.

He's hurt. Brust blew by him at the end of the game like he wasn't even there.
He should sit. Until the last minute of the game, then come in.

Clemmons should be starting for Marble right now, he's earned it and Marble has lost it.

Clemmons
Gesell
White
Basabe

I agree with many that there may be an injury there that's being covered up (no link) regardless of what Fran or Devyn say. Brust's lay up IMO was proof of this as in there was no way that should have happened. It looked like he simply couldn't find the step to stay with him. Not ruling out an effort issue, but after all that time on the bench with the game basically on the line, I'm going to rule in Devyn's favor and say effort wasn't (or better have not been) the issue and it was way to simple of a play in which he'd of gone deer in headlights. The fact is Fran made the same mistake in back to back games. If your going to sit him for being ineffective/hurt, then don't think all of a sudden because your in the final two minutes of the game that everything will magically cure itself and things will get better. If it's mental then Devyn should get the opportunity to play his way out of it, but not when the game is on the line.

If he's not hurt, and that's what we saw, he should sit the rest of the season. The effort on getting caught on the screen/curl cut w/ Brust made it look like Dev was in quicksand. If he's injured, let him heal. If that was from lack of effort, I don't want to see him again this year.

If Marble is hurt, I'm not sure why Fran is letting him take such a beating in public opinion by stating he isn't injured.

Either way, until he is healthy or regains his mojo he has no business being on the floor during crunch time.

Clearly he doesn't need to sit at all, he needs to play 40 minutes.

What a fragile ego. His confidence is gone. He can't take the coach's criticism.. So the coaching staff has to handle his psyche with kid gloves.

Hey you guys forget RDM had a concussion at the beginning of the season. You becomes different person when you have concussion. Be nice,he's prolly needs your understanding and patience.

He's not as talented as projected by the media, and unfortunately gets compared to his dad. He would of been better off going to another school IMO.
