Vegas sets the line where they think they will get the most action on both sides of the over/under. It really has nothing to do with what they think Iowa will win or lose a game they are not supposed to.

and yet Dace and Jon ruminate and obsess about it. When the podcasts has more to do with handicapping than about football its self, I'm tuning out.

Listen...Losing to NW or Purdue last year were not in the "loss to teams we shouldn't lose to" category. Those are Big Ten teams and NW was the Division Champ for christ's sake. Purdue beat OSU last year.

The teams we shouldn't ever lose to are the NDSU's of the world. Honestly...we haven't had one of those since that game.

We were underdogs to Purdue on the road. We were actually 10-point favorites to NW at home, but as you said, they were division champs (who got no respect from Vegas all year).
