Mading Thok

So Peter is Listed at 6-5 as a Sophmore, his brother Dau (Commited to Penn) is listed at 6-3. Although it would be nice, i don't see Peter growing 7 inches.

This trait will always land you a job in the San Fernando Valley.

Many, many respects for that one.

Went to high school in the SFV. Took J Geil's, "Centerfold" to a whole new level.

have heard that lading will be play for boyden-hall next year. he has been seen at a local country club win his new host family from boyden. bh is normally a 2a school, but I don't know where they will fit in this year with the state shuffling things. he will dominate at any small school level. we just don't see guys that size in small school. the obvious exception was egleseder.

I see he is playing for Martin Brothers in AAU, what is the book on this kid?
If Iowa weren't to get Woodbury would he be a nice consolation?

Might not be a bad idea, considering he has played only a couple years of organized basketball. I believe he is another soccer pickup, like Olaseni. A giant running among boys. Although Gabe was ahead of Thok at this point. From what I heard Thok has the footwork. Will he pickup the rest of the game in the next 2-6 years? We will see...

FYI, Thok is enrolled at Western Christian in Hull. I don't know all the details, but apparently he had to be enrolled in a private school for him to satisfy his visa status. He is residing with a family in the area that have sent their own kids to the BH-RV schools.

Word on the street is that he wants to choose a college before the basketball season starts because he is tired of all the distraction.

I'm used to seeing tall, Dutch kids in this area, but he towers over them all. It will be interesting to see him play this year.

I have no idea if Iowa is in the hunt for him at all.

Western Christian is probably a good fit for this kind of project. They have a solid coaching staff.

As far as Thok's college choice, he would likely have to be a walk-on at Iowa, so I doubt he chooses the Hawks. He currently has offers from Ball State and San Francisco. I have no idea which would be more appealing to him.
