Luke Fickell or Diaco at DC if....

TylerSash, have you not been looking at the coaching carousel at notre dame the last 10 years? Brian kelly has 2 more years and if he doesnt get ND to a top 5 ranking, BCS game, and in the national championship talk he will be gone. ND's fanbase are nuts. They think it is the 1940s and ND should win the national title every other year.

Don't worry, Kelly will be there for the long haul.

You have no point, because you're an idiot.

I would learn more about football by repeatedly ramming my head into the wall, which is what I feel like after reading your posts.

what's your problem? didn't know people had to have your permission to post here. also, there's this slick little "ignore" function if you just can't handle it. it comes in handy round Iowa v ISU time.

I bet you and hawkfaninTX get along very well.

when somebody uses the word "if" people jump on them like it is a statement of fact or a statement of "i want"
i myself have said "IF" Norm Parker "RETIRES" the new coach should be Stoops.
i suppose you are going to jump me about saying he should go

Why the hell would Diaco give up a job at Notre Dame to come to Iowa?

Do some of you even think about this garbage before you hit POST?

Um, you realize he went to Iowa, right? It's also a little known fact he'd jump at the opportunity to get back to Iowa City. Trust me, I know more than you do on this topic. Do your research, pal, before spouting off.

lei's face facts, Bobby Stoops would have come in a heart beat but Bowlsbey wanted some one he could control and drug hs heels, all he had to do was say the job was his and he would have been here, Mike Stoops would come in a heartbeat, but KF does not want him here because Stoops is not conservative, and won't be

Nat, did you mean to type "it's a well known fact"? :D

I seem to recall in the last couple of year a similar thread on this message board contending the possibility of Diaco coming back to Iowa and someone posted an exchange from an interview or presser that posed the question to Diaco and he essentially laughed it off.

Do you not realize that the Iowa fanbase is currently ready to run out of town the most successful DC in the history of Iowa football?

How stupid are you?

What's Norm done for Iowa's D lately? Huh? That's right. Nada. IMO, that's not acceptable when the D is so important in Ferentz's scheme. I'm not sure how Ferentz feels on this subject (that's why I now have questions about Ferentz).

Will Ferentz make the hard decisions necessary for the betterment of Iowa football?
